Who is The Hire Supply Company (UK) Limited?

The Hire Supply Company (UK) Limited started life as as a small supplier to the tool hire industry, incorporated in 2001 and has now grown to be one of the UK's largest Tool Hire Industry Distributors.

In January 2006 we launched HSC FireSafe, set up to provide quick & easy fire extinguisher sales and service at a truly competitive price from our team are fully FETA & IFEDA trained staff, whom over and above the supply of extinguishers, fire blankets and other consumables, also offer full service and maintenance as well as fire and safety risk assessments.

We sell industrial and commercial equipment specifically for and to the tool hire and garden machinery industries.

Our products are sourced from around the world with a manifesto of obtaining and supplying the very best, most robust, hard wearing and economical products available.

Our products are extensively tested for longevity and strength, because the majority will be used for hundreds of hours through their rental cycle.

We supply a vast range of products covering lighting, site electrical, heating, cooling, pumping, drying, decorating, fume extraction, dust containment, garden and landscaping, fire safety, gas, and load handling equipment.

Where Are We?

Our headquarters are in Attenborough, Nottinghamshire in the United Kingdom, where we have our main administration, sales and engineering teams located. This is our main warehouse and distribution centre. Although we don't have a shop front, local businesses are welcome to collect their orders from us, although we do offer free delivery when orders are over a pre-determined amount!

We also have another large distribution warehouse and team just off the Edgeware Road in London, opened in October 2005. Based in North/West London, well placed inside the M25, we are able to facilitate better delivery timescales to the central London region. This enables us to offer same day delivery to central London, an area of the UK that has a reputation for quick turnaround business and a high volume of tool hire and construction business.

The Hire Supply Company purchased Midland Power Distribution (UK) Ltd, based in Worcestershire, in 2014, enhancing our garden and landscaping portfolio. The HSC team are committed to supply their product portfolio across the UK, but again, local businesses are welcome to collect their orders directly from the warehouse.

Our teams of sales staff are some of the best in the world. They are knowledgable on products and situations and are on hand to advise and recommend. We will never sell you something that you won't need. We train our sales and product teams to be helpful, conscientious and insightful. They have the most up to date product information, so you're always getting the latest deals and support.

Our engineering teams are specialists in all our products. We send our teams to the manufacturers, not third-party trainers, so they learn from the 'horses mouth'. This is what makes them the best. We aim to turn around repairs and maintenance in the fastest timescales in the industry and guarantee all our work. Our dedicated and knowledgeable team are always on hand to offer expert help and guidance, with a ‘can-do’ attitude that is really appreciated by our customers.

We have an excellent warehousing team who manage stock incoming and orders outgoing, efficiently and carefully. We check all our products before they leave the warehouse to ensure you receive your goods in a timely manner and minimise the need for returns. They pack and wrap your orders and assist our favoured couriers to load and check your orders so there are no mistakes or errors. This is why we always deliver on time.
